Source of Music
«Source of Music» — this is how pupils and teachers of Zaporozhye Musical School No.6 entitled the concert of classic music, which took place on May 29, 2010 in the Museum-Gallery. The emotional impact of art and music could be compared only to an enormous wave which enthralls one and carries one off to the wonderful world.
Source of spirituality
On May 26, 2010 pupils and teachers of ZNVK «Mriya» became acquainted with the world of beauty in the Museum-Gallery. «An indispensable source of spiritual education is an exposure of schoolchildren to aesthetic experience: admiration of the world of nature, beauty of art, beauty of human relations. Sensitiveness, receptivity to beauty in childhood are deep and sincere, that is why it is important not to miss out this possibility of fostering the need for the beautiful, which strongly influences the content of spiritual life of a child», — marked in her comment about the Museum-Gallery director of ZNVK «Mriya», candidate of pedagogic sciences, associate professor Skirko G.Z.
Anniversary celebration
On January 17, 2010 Zaporozhye family celebrated a 250-th anniversary of clay and sand research laboratory founded by a great-great-grandfather of Maria Hiltmann on the bank of Moskovka river for the purpose of ceramics manufacturing and a 10-th anniversary of A.P. Burlay art saloon (periodical exhibitions). The event culminated in an organ concert where compositions of Bach, Mozart and Haydn were played.
«Museum and School»
In 2010, Valentina Illivna Batalkina initiated and carried out her project entitled «Museum and School». The aim of the project was to arrange close cooperation between the Museum and comprehensive schools, as well as music schools, schools and colleges of art, higher educational institutions of Ukraine and foreign countries in terms of providing aesthetic education to children and teenagers.
First music concert
On the 18 September 2009, the Museum-Gallery hosted the first music concert that honored Maria Hiltmann and was dedicated to her birthday’s anniversary. The music masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Edward Grieg were performed by Sergiy Andreyev on the antique musical instrument in an ancient Museum’s chamber.
It took place in museum-gallery of applied arts. During this evening were played the musical compositions of Bach, Mozart and Grig. This day in museum-gallery the visitors could hear the sounds of old organ.
In June 18, 2008 our museum celebrated the first anniversary. This day the guests could see the new exposition in our museum. The exhibition contained 150 watercolor paintings with the oldest brick buildings of our city. Someone of these buildings preserves till nowadays but these houses were built in XIX century.
