6-th thematic exhibition «School of the Future»

Another 2012-2013 school year is gone. Lessons, lectures, seminars, tests, examinations, sessions. Work never ends… Some people are looking forward to summer vacations, while other ones keep on working.
During this period Zaporozhye Museum-Gallery of Applied Ceramics and Art Creativity of Ilya and Alexey Burlai did not waste any time and offered welcome to every visitor. Since the Museum carries out scientific, creative, cultural and pedagogical activities, its guests are mainly school children and students. Apart from excursions the visitors were offered to draw the «School of the Future».
Daring flight of children’s imagination… However, there are general trends: school in the sky, school on the other planet, school under water and school as a certain object or part of the body. Who knows, maybe they will become scientists, engineers, architects, builders that will make real their childhood fantasies.
On June 3, 2013 the 6th thematic exhibition «School of the Future» was opened. It was dedicated to the 5-th anniversary of the Museum-Gallery opening. Not only schoolchildren and students, but also professional artists and teachers participated in the exhibition : Lopuhova S., the honored artist of Ukraine, teacher of Kiev National University of Culture and Art; Sergiyenko A.A., organizer and permanent leader of creative association the «Folk Paint Shop of the North Fleet»- a school for beginners, associate professor managing a design department, teacher of drawing and painting in the Metropolitan Financial and Humanitarian Academy of Murmansk; Dobrev P.P., a teacher of his son; Latansky S.V. who became a tutor and the best example for his daughter and many artists; Vaschuk D.K. who devoted more than 30 years of her life to pedagogical activity. Also at the exhibition there were presented works of Minayev G.V., a teacher of Zaporozhye Classical Private University; Kovgan S.V., a teacher of Mirgorod technical school of ceramics; Bilyk N.A., Dobrev P., Rapoport B.I., Kurilin Yu.I., Dubinin V.K., Kriklivaya N.V., Batalkina V.I., Yegorov Yu.P., an architect and a leader of Design Studio of Zaporozhye State Engineering Academy.
Leonid Alexandrovich Griffen presented his two books to the Museum: «Phenomenon of Technology» and «Basics of Lighting Technology for Designers».
In honor of inauguration of the event the teachers Rybalova Ye.V., Isionova Sch.I. and the students of Zaporozhye Musical School No.6 gave a concert of classical music.
The exhibition will be held over a period of summer vacations till Septembers 3, 2013.
